Terms of Service

📜 1. Acceptance of these terms

By signing up, signing in, or using GameBiller, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. This is a valid electronic agreement under Section 10A of the Information Technology Act 2000.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use GameBiller.

If you install GameBiller from Google Play, Google's Developer Distribution Agreement and Play policies also apply, in addition to these terms.

🔑 2. Who can use GameBiller

• You must be 18 years or older and legally able to enter a contract under the Indian Contract Act 1872.
• You must operate a lawful gaming, entertainment, or cyber cafe business in India.
• Government-licensed gambling businesses may not use GameBiller for gambling operations.
• You are responsible for everything done by the staff users you create under your account.

🛡 3. Account creation and security

• Please give honest and accurate information when you sign up.
• Keeping your password safe is your responsibility.
• One business can hold multiple accounts (for example, one per branch), but you must not share credentials with anyone who is not your staff.
• If you suspect unauthorised access, please notify support@gamebiller.com immediately.

🎁 4. Your first 30 days, then Free Forever

• New accounts get 30 days of premium features — no card required.
• At the end of those 30 days your account moves automatically to the Free Forever plan. You are not locked out and you are never auto-charged. You keep your data and can carry on running your centre on the free plan.
• The Free Forever plan is renewed month to month at no cost and includes the capabilities listed below. Upgrading to a paid plan is optional, and only needed if you want something beyond those inclusions.

What the Free Forever plan includes

^* Unlimited stations is offered on a fair-use basis and remains subject to these terms. PC Lock is a separate optional add-on, charged per PC, and is not part of the Free Forever plan. We may change what the free plan includes; this page is updated when it does.

• One premium introductory period per business / per registered email. Repeat premium periods are granted only at our discretion.

💳 5. Subscription plans, billing and taxes

We offer multiple plans (Standard, Pro, Pro+) across several billing cycles. The exact prices are shown inside the app.

• All prices are in INR and are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
• Auto-renewal is ON by default. Razorpay automatically charges the same plan at the end of each cycle until you cancel. You can turn auto-renewal off anytime from the in-app Subscription Manager.
• If a payment fails, your service is suspended (not deleted) until a retry succeeds or 14 days pass, whichever is sooner.
• A GST-compliant invoice (PDF) is auto-generated and emailed to your registered email within 24 hours of a successful payment, as per the GST Act 2017.

↩ 6. Cancellation, refunds and downgrade

• You can cancel anytime from the in-app Subscription Manager.
• Cancellation stops future renewals. Your service continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• No partial refunds for the unused portion of a billing cycle — this means you won't be eligible for a refund just for cancelling early.

• Upgrades are pro-rated based on remaining days, and the difference is charged on the spot.
• Downgrades take effect at your next renewal cycle.

🖥 7. PC Lock add-on (PC management)

• PC Lock is sold separately as an add-on subscription.
• It requires the PC Lock Windows agent installed on each PC you want to manage.
• The same auto-renewal, cancellation, and refund rules in Sections 5 and 6 apply.
• You are responsible for installing and maintaining the agent on your PCs.

🚫 8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use GameBiller to:

• Operate illegal gambling or unlicensed gaming activity.
• Launder money or evade taxes (GST or Income Tax).
• Process payments for prohibited goods or services.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or republish GameBiller's code or APIs.
• Send spam or unsolicited messages to your customers.
• Impersonate another business or use stolen identity documents.

👥 9. Your customer data (the gamers your shop bills)

• The names and phone numbers of your customers are entered by you.
• For that information, you are the data controller and we are the data processor.
• You must comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 when collecting and using your customers' data.
• You must get your customers' consent before entering their data into GameBiller.
• We process this data strictly to provide the service to you — see our Privacy Policy.

📡 10. Service availability

• We aim for high availability but do not promise a specific uptime SLA at this stage.
• Where possible, we will announce scheduled maintenance 24 hours in advance.
• Events beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, cyber-attacks, upstream infrastructure failures) limit our liability — see Section 13.

🔧 11. Modifications to the service

• We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
• If we materially remove a paid feature, we will give 30 days' notice and a pro-rated credit or refund where applicable.

©️ 12. Intellectual property

• GameBiller, its logo, design, and all source code are owned by Biller Technologies.
• We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use GameBiller for your own business.
• No reverse-engineering, redistribution, or white-labelling without our written permission.
• Anything you upload or enter (shop config, customer records, invoices) remains your property.

⚖️ 13. Limitation of liability

• GameBiller is provided "as is", with no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
• Our maximum liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (such as lost profits, reputation, or business interruption).
• Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law (for example, wilful negligence).

🤝 14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Biller Technologies against claims arising from:

• Your violation of these terms.
• Your violation of any law or third-party rights.
• Your misuse of your customers' data.

🚪 15. Termination

• You can stop using GameBiller anytime by deleting your account via our account deletion page.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable notice where the situation allows.
• On termination, you can request a data export within 30 days. After that, we follow the deletion and retention rules in our Privacy Policy.

📝 16. Modifications to these terms

• We may update these terms and will change the "Last updated" date.
• For material changes, we will give an in-app notice and email active users at least 7 days before the change takes effect.
• Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

🏛 17. Governing law and dispute resolution

• These terms are governed by the laws of India.
• The courts in Srivilliputhur, Tamil Nadu, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
• Before any court action, both sides will try in good faith to resolve the dispute by email within 30 days of the dispute notice.
