PlayStation Lock — no free play on consoles

PlayStation Lock Software

Stop free play on your consoles. GameBiller PlayStation Lock is an app on the TV: when a station is idle it covers the screen, and when staff press Start it opens again. The console and TV stay on, so nobody needs the remote. At no extra charge with GameBiller Premium.

What you get with GameBiller

📺 Covers the TV screen

Done covers the screen and Start opens it, driven by the same buttons staff already use on the station card.

🎮 Works with any TV console

PlayStation, Xbox or anything else on the TV: the app locks the screen, so the console needs nothing installed.

⏱ Time on the TV

On the full lock, a small timer in the bottom right corner shows the running time, matching the station card.

📶 A running game keeps going

If the internet or GameBiller goes down, a running game carries on and a locked TV stays locked. It catches up when it is back online.

🔑 A staff way out

Each shop has a staff PIN, which works with no internet, for when a TV must be freed by hand.

🔢 Pairs with a 6-digit code

Add a TV in GameBiller, pick its station and enter the code on the TV with the remote. No PC at the shop.

Why shops lock their console TVs

A console left on between customers is free play, and time after a session ends rarely gets billed. PlayStation Lock ties the screen to the station: no Start, no picture. Staff stop chasing customers at the end of a session, and the screen itself tells the next customer to ask at the counter.

Common questions

How do I stop free play on a PS5 when a customer’s time is up?

GameBiller PlayStation Lock covers the TV screen within seconds of a session ending: when staff press Done, or when a stop timer set on the station runs out. The console keeps running behind it, and Start brings the game straight back.

Is it also a console timer?

Yes. On the full lock, a small timer in the bottom right corner of the TV shows the running time, matching the station card. On the basic lock no timer can show.

How do I lock a PS5 between customers?

Install the free GameBiller TV Lock app on the TV, add the TV under TV Lock in your GameBiller menu, choose its station and enter the 6-digit pairing code on the TV. From then on Done covers the screen and Start opens it.

Which TVs does PlayStation Lock work on?

Android TV and Google TV sets. Samsung and LG smart TVs run their own systems and cannot install the app. On Fire TV the app installs, but the full lock and timer need a one-time setup from a PC, so contact support first.

What does PlayStation Lock cost?

It comes with GameBiller Premium and the 30-day free trial at no extra charge. It is not part of GameBiller Free.

Will it interrupt a game if the internet drops?

No. A running game carries on with no time limit and a locked TV stays locked. It catches up as soon as it is back online.

Does it turn the console or TV off?

No. Both stay on and the app only covers the screen, so Start brings the game straight back. Sound from the console can still be heard behind the lock.
